Lisa has 3/5 as many cookies as Betty.If Lisa gives 1/3 of her cookies to Betty,what will the ratio of Lisa's cookies to Betty's cookies be.

We can assume that Lisa has 3 and Betty has 5, so
(3-1)/(5+1) = 2/6 = 1/3
(3-1)/(5+1) = 2/6 = 1/3
