One second after being thrown straight down an object is falling with a speed of 20m/s. How fast will it be falling 2 seconds later

g=9.8 (m/s) /s
After two further seconds in a free-fall without air resistance, the <i>increase</i> in velocity is
δv=g(2 s)=9.8*2 m/s
=19.6 s
which allows you to figure out the final velocity.
