If the energy used to heat up a block of 2kg of copper is 115.8 kJ, what is the temperature it was heated to if the starting temperature was 100oC and the specific heat capacity is 386 J/kgK.
E=MC(T2-T1)
115800=2*112.85(T2-100)
115800=225.7(T2-100)
115800/225.7=(T2-100)
513=(T2-100)
513-100=T2
T2=413degree
please check it correct. thanks.
