Asked by megan

The ratio of two supplementary angles is 2:7. What is the measure of the smaller angle?

Can anyone help me with this--i don't understand it.

The angles add to 180, so

2x + 7x=180
solve for x, then the smaller angle is 2x

Supplemental means adds to 180 degrees.

THANK YOU SOO MUCH!
I get it now.
