my watch is twelve minutes slow .the bus for which I am waiting should have arrived at 3.49pm but it is five minutes late. What time would my watch show when the bus arrives?

it arrives at 3:54
which is
3:(54-12) = 3:42 on my watch
So I probably missed it by seven minutes.
