Great points! Here are two more reasons why emotional readiness is necessary for good parenting:
1. Role modeling: Parents are role models for their children. When parents are emotionally ready, they can model healthy emotional expression and communication for their children. This helps to build strong relationships and fosters emotional intelligence and resilience in children.
2. Coping with stress: Parenting can be stressful at times. When parents are emotionally ready, they are better equipped to cope with the stressors that come with parenthood. This allows them to respond to their children's needs in a calm and supportive manner, even when challenges arise.
