seven times the sum of a number and seven is 13 more than the number. what is the number?

i know it cant be that hard but please help

7(x+7)=x+13
7x+49=x+13
7x-x+49=x-x+13
6x+49=13
6x+49-49=13-49
6x=-36
(6x)/6=(-36)/6
x=-6
