Determine the equation for the vertical asymptotes, if they exist, for each function. Then, state the domain.
f(x)= -1/x^2-7x+6
f(x)= -1/x^2-7x+6

Assuming you meant:
f(x)= -1/(x^2-7x+6)
= -1/((x-6)(x-1))
vertical asymptotes are caused by the denominator being zero,
so x-6 = 0 ----> x = 6
or
x-1 = 0 ---> x = 1
f(x)= -1/(x^2-7x+6)
= -1/((x-6)(x-1))
vertical asymptotes are caused by the denominator being zero,
so x-6 = 0 ----> x = 6
or
x-1 = 0 ---> x = 1
