Ten students took a math exam. As the teacher evaluated the math exams, she noticed that 8 of the ten students scored above the median. Is this possible? Why

I am leaning towards yes it is possible. Kinda confused

If the median is from a larger population, then it can be true.

If the median is just for the 10 students, then it cannot be true. The median is the 50th percentile.
