I bought 24 bananas. Each banana weight 50 grams. If the price for bananas was $5.50 per kg, how much did I pay?

1 kilogram = 1000 grams

24*50= 1,200 grams

5.50/1000 = x/1200

1000x = 6,600

x = $6.60
