how would you explain how to do Inequalities? With negative numbers, and how to add and subtract ex: a+7<10+? how would that be solved .

1 answer

You would isolate the variable to one side of the inequality.

A+7<10
A< 3

Whenever A is less than 3 the inequality is true.

If it were
-A-8 < 10
-A < 18
At this point you would divide both sides by -1, when dividing by a negative with an inequality the inequality flips so the answer would like:

A > 18
