A can of black olives has a diameter of 8 centimeters and height of 20 cm. If the can contains 15 olives, each approximately 2 cubic cm, then what is the approximate volume of the liquid filling the can?

The volume of the olives, which should be treated as spheres, is 20*(pi/6)D^3
Subtract that from the volume of the can, using the formula for the volume of a cylinder, which you whould know.
The difference will be the volume of liquid in the (unopened) can.
