Does an 8-car Ferris wheel have rotational symmetry? Explain

I am so confused. Can someone explain this?

it has as much symmetry as a regular octagon.

Rotate it 1/8 of a circle and it looks the same as before. (As long as the cars are all the same color!)

We know that an 8-car Ferris wheel is similar to an octagonal. An octagonal has a rotational symmetry of order 8. Therefore, 8-car Ferris wheel does have a rotational symmetry and it would be of order 8
