    30/7 m = 3(10/7) m
20/7 m = 2(10/7) m
So If I went to a tile store and asked for 6 tiles of 10/7 m units on each side, I could do this by laying 3 tiles along the length and 2 tiles along the width.

This is an absurd question. You cannot decide on the size of the tile that you want to use. They come in standard dimensions. I doubt if a tile of
10/7 m by 10/7 m exists.
