Power gain (G) is just [Power Out] / [Power In] In your case, that is
G = 50 watts / 5 watts = 10
To express that in decibels:
Gain in dB = 10 * log(G) = 10 * log(10) = 10 * 1 = 10 dB
G = 50 watts / 5 watts = 10
