A Car is travelling 20m/s when it pulls out to pass a truck that is travelling at 18 m/s. The car accelerates at 2.0m/s^2 for 7.0 seconds
B) What is the car's speed at the end of the period of acceleration?
Vi=20 m/s
Vf=18 m/s
a= 2.0m/s^2
t=7.0 Seconds
I am unsure what formula to use to solve this.

To solve for the final speed (Vf) of the car after the period of acceleration, you can use the formula:
Vf = Vi + a * t
Where:
- Vf is the final speed (which is what we're trying to find),
- Vi is the initial speed (20 m/s in this case),
- a is the acceleration (2.0 m/s^2 in this case),
- t is the duration of the acceleration (7.0 seconds in this case).
Plugging in the given values:
Vf = 20 m/s + (2.0 m/s^2) * 7.0 s
Now we can calculate:
Vf = 20 m/s + 14 m/s
Vf = 34 m/s
So, the car's speed at the end of the acceleration period is 34 m/s.
