Question

If you and 4 friends go to buy a drone and you find that it will cost you each $30. How many friends would you need to have with you if you wanted to get that cost down to $20/person or less.

I've been stuck on this question for a while now, if you could help I'd appreciate it.

5 * 30 = 150

150 / 20 >= ?

= 7.5 I know, I've tried that process, but it just doesn't make sense, 7.5 people?

You're right. You'd need 8 people. Note that you want to get the cost down to $20 or less per person.
