Lunar eclipse occurs when the earth comes between the sun and moon. The solar eclipse occurs when the moon comes between a portion of the earth and the sun. Solar eclipses happen more often.

Solar eclipses happen once every 300 years. Lunar eclipses happen two to four times each year. Therefore lunar eclipses happen more often! PsyDAG is wrong on that part.

Sorry i made a mistake on my research TOTAL solar eclipses happen once every 300 years, and solar eclipes happen more often than lunar eclipes.
