A rectangular prism has a length of 8 in., a width of 4 in., and a height of 2 1/4 in.

The prism is filled with cubes that have edge lengths of 1/4 in.

How many cubes are needed to fill the rectangular prism?

Vr = L*W*h = 8 * 4 * 2.25 = 14.22 in^3 = Vol. of rectangle.

Vc = L*W*h = 0.25 * 0.25 * 0.25 = (0.25)^3 = 0.0156 in^3

Vr/Vc = 14.22in^3/0.0156in^3 = 910 Cubes.
