Convert the polar equation to rectangular form.
r=4cos-4sin
What I have so far:
r^2=4rcos-4rsin
x^2+y^2-4x+4y
x^2-4x+y^2+4y=0
r=4cos-4sin
What I have so far:
r^2=4rcos-4rsin
x^2+y^2-4x+4y
x^2-4x+y^2+4y=0

so, think back to your Algebra II days and finish it up. What you have is correct, but make it look good:
x^2-4x + y^2+4y = 0
x^2-4x+4 + y^2+4y+4 = 8
(x-2)^2 + (y+2)^2 = 8

x^2-4x + y^2+4y = 0
x^2-4x+4 + y^2+4y+4 = 8
(x-2)^2 + (y+2)^2 = 8
