The data shown below shows the number of students in a school.

Std 1 - 25 students

std 2 - 20 students

std 3 - 18 students

std 4 - 17 students,

If the school has 27 (2) seaters to seat all the students in the classes, how many (2) seaters are needed to seat all the students?

yes

well for 25 you need 12 1/2 but that is not possible so
13
+10
+ 9
+ 9
-----
41
but we have 27
so we need
41 - 27 = 14

25 + 20 + 18 + 17 = 80

27 (2) seaters = 54 spots to sit.

80 students.. 54 spots to sit.

:/ Not sure how that would work out

Unless you cut them in half of course :)

where did you get 10+9+9. isn't it suppose to be 25+20+18+17?
Answered by Damon
No, 25/2 is not a two person desk
need 13 desks for 25 people
and 9 desks for 17 people

TRICK QUESTION :)
Answered by Damon
13 + 10 + 9 + 9 needed
Answered by Damon
then subtract the 27 you have and buy 14
