At the end of their study of the kinds of electricity, mrs.clark class compleated quiz, there were 26 students , 6 of them scored 100, 4 scored 90, 3 scored 80 and rest of them 80. What was the average quiz score for the quiz

Can anybody please explain this clearly.

to find the average, add up the total points and divide by the number of students:

(6*100 + 4*90 + 3*80 + (26-6-4-3)*80)/26 = 86.15

I suspect a typo, since a score of 80 appears twice in the description. If so, just fix it in the expression above, and recalculate.
