Hi! So I need help describing someone with heterochromia, for a third-point-of-view fictional story. Thanks for your help!

I forgot to mention that he has his right eye jade green and left one lake blue.

Thank you for offering your help. I know what heterochromia is, but I need help describing it as in for someone with blue eyes you'd say:
His crystal blue eyes seemed to hold a magical gaze.
Or something like that.
I don't know how I would describe the character's(Amias) heterochromia without repeating the same thing. The best thing I had was:
Perrie was surprised to see that his eyes-they were two different colors. It was rare. His right eye was jade green, the other lake blue, both freckled with amber.
I need another way to describe it.
