conserve momentum:

0.5*10 + 0.5*0 = (0.5+0.5)*v

0.5 (10) = (.5+.5) v V = 5m/s

Mo men tum of two objects in before collision =momentum is of two object after collision, therefore 0.5 times 10-0.5 =0.5v +0.5v=v 5-0=v therefore, v=5ms-1
