Why has there been a decline in freedom in the world over the last 10 years?
Any thoughts?
I was thinking along the lines of terrorism and the pressure for the world to gain a democratic state.

I think ISIS and terrorism are a couple of the causes of the lack of freedom. I'm not sure, though, there's been a decline in freedom in the last 10 years.
From what we understand, there's more freedom in Vietnam and China than there used to be. While some countries have seen a decline in freedom, others have seen an increase.
However, according to this and other sites, I'm wrong. They show a decline in freedom. Read this article carefully for more information and perhaps reasons for this decline.
