Rewrite the expression using the distributive property 1/2(4x+2)+8x. Do I take the 1/2(4x) = 9x+5+8x is this simplify

1/2(4x+2)+8x
= (1/2)(4x) + (1/2)(2) + 8x
= 2x+1+8x
= 10x+1
