The plan of a park is at a scale of 1:5000. Calculate the actual distance between two points if the distance between two points on the map is:
a)2 cm (How many meters?)
b)2.8 cm (Give answer in meters)
c) 7cm (Meters)

2 = 10,000 m

I know where you got these problems as well :) But I would just like to say that that answer doesn't work and that there is more complexity behinds this problem. If it worked for you then there must be a glitch, but it does NOT work for me. Is there any other way someone could solve this? I'm really stumped! Are there any other ways that people know how to solve this? Thanks for all your help! It's really nice that everyone's helping here <3
