Predict the products.

Ba(s) + O2 (g) -> ????

SO2 (g) -> ???
(On the sheet it says the products are elements for this particular equation)

The product for the first one probably is the peroxide, BaO2, if Ba is burned in pure oxygen.
The second one I would write no reaction because no conditions are listed. In general, SO2 is relatively stable. However, if your sheet says elements, the only elements you can get are S and O2. BUT, I don't really believe that.
