I'm confused about how to do these problems, I thought I was doing it right, but I think I might be wrong.

The Honda Civic Hybrid is a compact car. It gets a combined highway and city fuel efficiency 17.8 kilometers per liter (42.0 miles per gallon). Calculate each of the following:
(a) Liters (gallons) of gasoline per year, assuming an average of 19,300 kilometers (12,000 miles)
(b) Kilograms (pounds) of CO2 produced per year, assuming combustion of gasoline releases 2.3 kilograms per liter (19 pounds per gallon
(c) Hectares (acres) of tropical rainforest needed to take up CO2 produced per year, assuming the annual uptake of an undisturbed forest is 0.5 kilograms of CO2 per square meter
For (a) I did 19.3 l./1gal. x xgal/0.265 and got approximately 5.1.
