Hello Ms. Sue would I convert 14 to a fraction such as 14/1?
Ms. Sue
Yes convert and then multiply.
Hello Ms. Sue so then would my answer be: 1/4 x 14/1=3.5 and this is how long it took Ingrid to wash her car 3.5 hours?
Ms. Sue
I'm sorry, but I didn't read your question very carefully.
Convert 1/4 to its reciprocal = 4/1
14 * 4 = 56 minutes
Convert 1/4 to its reciprocal = 4/1
