A hotdog costs $1.27 more than twice the price of a sod. Write an expression that shows the price of a hot dog in relation to the price of a soda. Then evaluate where the soda costs $99.

A "soda costs $99"? I assume you mean $.99.

h = 2s + 1.27 = 2(.99) + 1.27

Calculate.
