Explain how Particles moves in solid lead, molten solid, gaseous lead in these three state of matter

Particles maintain their distance and orientation to other particles in the solid state and only vibrate a little in place so the shape and volume of a lead block does not change (much:).
In the liquid state, the particles maintain their distance but not orientation so the shape can change but not volume.
In the gaseous state the particles maintain only a temperature and pressure determined statistical distance from other particles and change orientation to other particles without restraint, so the volume and shape can change.
