The South wouldn't have fought a war if they were leaning toward emancipation.

Slaves mostly only knew farming, they knew nothing about factory work.

That leaves two answers left. Which do you think is the right answer?

I believe you are right on D, because slaves who traveled through the underground railroad were giving up their work to receive their freedom.
