The sum of two number equal 25
The second number is 4 times larger than the first number.
Write the two equations AND what are the two numbers.
I have x+4x =25
but not sure what the two equations would be? Please help...thank you

Only one equation.
5x = 25
x = 5
The other number is 4 * 5 = 20
20 + 5 = 25
5x = 25
x = 5
The other number is 4 * 5 = 20
20 + 5 = 25
