Why is 25 a composite number help!!

Answered by Steve
A prime number is a number whose factors are only 1 and itself like 17 is a prime number because it's only factors are 1 and 17. 25 is a composite number because it has other factors besides 1 and itself, 25. The factors of 25 are 1,5,and 25. That's why it's a composite number.
