how could I put the Word Count on my research paper?
If you are using Microsoft Word, it's pretty easy.
Once you have finished the text of your research paper, but before you add the title and works cited pages, have the document open, go to the menu called Tools, and click on Word Count. Voilà!
If you are using another word processing program, you'll have to go to the help menu (or press the F1 key) and search for this topic.
