How do I write 15 times 3.4 using the distributive property?

15 ( 3 + .4)

= 45 + 6

= 51

= 51 lo and behold !

= 10(3+.4) + 5(3+.4)
= 30 + 4 + 15 + 2

= 51 again, boring !
