y = kx
given: x=3, y=10
10 = k(3)
k = 10/3
so y = (10/3)x
when x = 6
y = (10/3)(6) = 20
given: x=3, y=10
10 = k(3)
k = 10/3
so y = (10/3)x
when x = 6
y = (10/3)(6) = 20
