I am working on a regression model , if my residuals don't exceed 0.6 does that mean this model is OK for my data?,

It all depends on the size of the units.
If the mean of the y-values is, say, 100, then residuals not exceeding 0.6 is ok. If the mean of the y-values is 1, then it's not acceptable.
Also, it is related to the number of data, and the sign of the residuals as well. For example, if the residuals all have +0.6, then the model is far from optimal.
