Which of the following is equivalent to the expression 6m + 3?

A)2(3m + 3)
B)3(2m + 1)
C)3(2m + 3)
D)6(m + 3)

The answer I got was B) 3(2m + 1).


How I got this answer was 3 x 2 + 3 x 1 = 6m + 3.

by factorising d expression (6m+3) u ave 3(2m+1) which happens to be B

I agree with Donald Because if you have 6m + 3 that will mean you have to break down the number into smaller pieces to get your answer. :]
