i dont know if this is correct though;
4x(5) = 37

4x=37-5
4x/4=32/4
x=8

check:
x=8
4(8)=37-5
32=32

your first equation should have been
4x +5 = 37 instead of 4x(5) = 37

but then you miraculously switched it to the right one as you solved it.

The answer is correct
