this is going to sound a bit silly but are vine tomatoes italian i thought that they are am i right?
im cooking at school nad need to bring in only italian ingrdients .

It is true that the tomato is frequently used in italian cooking. So if that's what you meant to say, then you're right. However, the tomato was originally cultivated in South America, after which it was brought to Europe.

Roma tomatoes are a traditional Italian ingredient, which isn't to say that Italians don't use other cultivars of tomato.
