The level of oil in a bottle is at the 1/2-mark. More oil is poured in until it is at the 7/8- mark. What fraction of the bottle is occupied by the additional amount of oil. Pls show all working.

7/8-1/2 = 7/8-4/8 = 3/8 added.
(3/8)/(7/8) = 3/8 * 8/7 = 24/56 = 3/7 of the bottle.
