So,
3/5x equals to 1/2( x+24)

3/5x : 1/2(x+24)
3/5x (2) : x+24
6/5x : x+24
6/5x - x : 24
6x-5x/5 : 24
x/5 : 24
x : 120

Check:

3/5(120) : 1/2(120+24)
72 : 1/2(144)
72 : 72
