I think its still relevant because its supports how our society is reading less and less (spark notes enotes wikipedia) leading up to a society like f451

it shows us how new technology has affected the communication between people as well as time to read and think

It's still relevant because it makes people realize that books can teach people about how the real world is and shows how without literature there wouldn't be a meaningful, and thoughtful society
