                solve by the substitution method
3x + 6y = 27
-2x + y = 12
what is the solution of the system..(type an ordered pair, or N if there is no solution)

    3x+6y=27
y=2x+12
Then 3x+6(2x+12)=27
3x+12x+72=27
15x=45
x=9

y=2x+12
Then 3x+6(2x+12)=27
3x+12x+72=27
15x=45
x=9

    Geepers, if x is 3, calculate y from either equation and put it in that form (3,?)
Note that La Tarial made a typo, x=3, not 9

     Actually, it is wrong, La Trial made another error.
3x+12x+72=27
15x=-45
x=-15
so y = 2(-15)+12

3x+12x+72=27
15x=-45
x=-15
so y = 2(-15)+12
