A trapezium shows a wooden block in the form of a prism. PQRS is a trapezium with pq//SR. Pq=7cm,PS=5cm and SR=4cm.if the block is 12cm long, calculate its volume.

Since it's parallel ps=5 and qr=5
The base of the triangle in the trapezium=12-5
=7
h²=7²+7²
h²=49+49
h=√98
h=9.90cm
Area=1/2 ×[a+b] ×h
=1/2×[7+4]×9.9
=54.45cm²
Volume=length of the base×area
=12×54.45
=653.5cm³
