Hello! I was wondering if someone could tell me if the solution to this problem is identity or no solution.
The problem is 4n+5=6r+7 and I think the solution is n=3/2r+1/2 is it an identity or no solution? Thank you so very much for your help!

It is clearly not an identity, since it is not true for all n,r.
It has many solutions, since the equation describes a line.
If the problem was to solve for n, then your solution is correct.
