At the beginning of a trip, Gail's odometer reading was 100001 km. Gail filled the tank with 35L of gas. During the trip Gail bought 48L of gas, and at the end of the day filled the tank with 45.5L of gas. Gail was surprised to find at that time tat the odometer was the next palindromic number after 1001001. What was the average number of litres per 100KM used by Gail's car during the day's drive?

gas used: 48+45.5 liters
odometer: 1000
avg liters/km= gasused/1000
odometer: 1000
avg liters/km= gasused/1000

maybe 1002001 ? That is a lot of km
2000 km / (35 + 48 + 45.5) = 15.56 km/L
= 6.43 L/100 km
2000 km / (35 + 48 + 45.5) = 15.56 km/L
= 6.43 L/100 km

The next palindrome is 101101

Maybe 101 101 because to make it the very next palindrome you need to find the next palindrome. I don't know about the litres though.
