In a school there are 7 girls to every 5 boys.If there are 120 more girls than boys.How many pupils are there in tge school?

g = number of girls

5g/7 = number of boys

g - 5g/7 = 120

2g/7 = 120

g/7 = 60

g = 420
then
boys = (5/7)420 = 300
and
420 + 300 = 720 total
